Share Joy Pre-School blooms into spring
Share Joy celebrates spring's arrival with a colourful picnic and cheerful festivities, marking the start of outdoor activities and a new season of learning.
POLOKWANE – Share Joy Pre-School embraced the arrival of spring with a vibrant celebration on August 30.
The annual fun day, which follows a different theme each year, saw learners and staff dressed in colourful outfits adorned with flower garlands, enjoying a cheerful picnic together.
Josephine Kagori, expressed her excitement for the season. “This is a joyful time for us because our swimming classes will start, and we’ll be able to spend more time with the learners outside the classrooms,” she said.
The celebration also served an educational purpose, helping learners understand the different seasons and the changes they bring.
Kagori emphasised that spring is particularly enjoyable for the children due to the warm, welcoming weather.
As part of their seasonal activities, the learners will transplant the seeds they planted earlier in the year during the school’s Arbor Week event on September 13.
