Wonderland starts healthy smiles young
Intercare Polokwane's Dr Jeanne Schwartz educates Wonderland Preschoolers on dental hygiene, promoting healthy smiles from a young age.
POLOKWANE – The journey of dental development is filled with milestones, from the first appearance of baby teeth to the excitement of losing them and replacing them with bright white adult teeth. While this process is typically straightforward, issues can arise, often due to sugar consumption and inadequate oral hygiene.
To promote proper dental care, Dr Jeanne Schwartz from Intercare Polokwane visited the preschoolers at Wonderland Preschool. During her visit, she educated the children on the importance of good dental hygiene practices.
Following the session, she conducted quick oral screenings to determine if any child needed a more intensive dental examination.
To commemorate their participation, each child received a certificate and a special parcel, reinforcing the importance of taking care of their teeth.
