Jabez rewards their top achievers of 2024

Jabez Christian Academy celebrates learners' achievements at annual awards event, awarding trophies for academic excellence, leadership, and character.

POLOKWANE – Learners from Jabez Christian Academy excelled during 2024 and were awarded with trophies during the school’s recent awards event.

Academic trophies were awarded to primary school learners Rebotile Mabuela (mathematics and character building), Kegaugetswe Ledwaba (Afrikaans and social science), Mulanga Rambuda (Bible, economic and management sciences, arts and culture, and English), Hope Mamabolo (natural science and technology), Nsovo Nxumalo (computers), Emmanuel Mgbo (arts and culture), Jerusha Mthombeni (English).

High school learners Letago Matenchi (Afrikaans), Muhluri Dihashu (life orientation and geography), Ruth Haile (Bible and accounting), Mosa Hlatswayo (life science), Achiever Kabe (business studies), Thatego Kgalema (mathematical literacy), Simeo dos Santos (CAT and English), Abenziare Bazu (physical science and mathematics) and Kagiso Mampa (natural science and technology) also received trophies.

Boikanyo Setati was the Victor Ludorum for national swimming, and Verosh Shai received the Isaac Kiiru trophy for best discipline and leadership.

Mahlatse Phooko (Nehemiah trophy for servanthood) and Ruth Haile (Joshua trophy for leadership) were also awarded, while Achiever Kabe and Tshepang Phooko shared the Caleb trophy for diligence and Omolemo Rapoo and Thato Mtunani shared the Gideon trophy for light bearer.

Jabez principal Dr Elana Erasmus congratulated the achievers and remarked that the achievements came with hard work.

“We are looking forward to the new year,” she said.
