Warm days and late storms expected for Polokwane this week
Sunshine and heat dominate Polokwane early in the week before thunderstorms and a brief cool spell arrive later in the week.
POLOKWANE – Polokwane residents can expect a week of warm weather with a few interruptions as isolated thunderstorms make a return toward the weekend.
The new week begins on a bright note, with Monday and Tuesday bringing mostly sunny skies and hot daytime conditions.
Temperatures will peak in the low 30’s this week, while mornings will remain mild and comfortable in the mid to upper teens.

By Wednesday and Thursday, humidity will begin to build and clouds cover will increase. Afternoon thundershowers are possible in some areas, accompanied by gusty winds.

A brief cool spell is forecast for Friday, when maximum temperatures will dip to 20°C. However, the cooler weather won’t last long.

Temperatures are expected to rise heading into the weekend, with Saturday looking partly sunny and dry, before Sunday ushers in a stronger chance of thunderstorms, especially in the late afternoon and evening.
