POLOKWANE – The Lebowakgomo police have arrested a 20-year-old female learner after she allegedly poured boiling water on a fellow learner at a secondary school in Seleteng Village.
The Limpopo police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba said the incident happened in the early hours of October 26, while learners were camping at the school in preparation for their final examinations.
“According to preliminary investigations, a 19-year-old male learner was asleep in one of the classrooms when the suspect accused him of touching her private parts. “Police arrested the suspect on Friday (October 31), charging her with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH). She is expected to appear before the Lebowakgomo Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (November 3),” Ledwaba said.
