LIMPOPO – The police in Bandelierkop have opened a case of murder and inquest following the discovery of two bodies in a one-room house at Maunandzhele village last Wednesday.
According to police reports, officers were on duty when they received information about two people found dead inside a house.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman was in a relationship with the deceased man, a Zimbabwean national. Authorities suspect that the man assaulted and strangled the woman before taking his own life.
Family members last saw the couple on November 1, and made the discovery several days later when they went to check on them. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Acting provincial police commissioner Maj Gen Jan Scheepers expressed concern over incidents of gender-based violence and intimate partner killings.
“This tragic incident highlights the devastating impact of domestic violence. We urge anyone experiencing abuse to seek professional help before it is too late,” he said.
