Warm week with scattered thunderstorms for Polokwane

Polokwane can expect warm summer weather this week, with intermittent storm activity as the city heads deeper into the rainy season.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a warm and partly unsettled weather pattern in the week ahead, with temperatures remaining in the mid- to high-20s and afternoon thunderstorms on several days.

Monday starts off mostly dry with a mix of cloud and sunshine and a high of 27°C. Similar conditions continue into Tuesday, although the city is forecast to turn cloudy later in the day, with a couple of afternoon thunderstorms likely.

Wednesday brings partly sunny and pleasant conditions with a maximum of 26°C, offering one of the calmer days in the forecast.

Thunderstorms may return on Thursday morning, but the rest of the day should clear to a combination of sun and clouds, reaching a high of 24°C.

Friday is expected to be mostly calm with low clouds early on, followed by some sunshine and a daytime high of 26°C.

The weekend begins warm on Saturday with temperatures rising to 28°C. While the day will feature partial sunshine, a stray afternoon thunderstorm cannot be ruled out.

Sunday maintains the warm trend with another 28°C high and a blend of sun and clouds throughout the day.
