POLOKWANE – A week of scattered thunderstorms and warm temperatures is forecast for Polokwane, with showers expected on most days.

The week begins on Monday with cloudy skies and a high of 24°C.

Conditions remain unstable on Tuesday, with morning thunderstorms giving way to a mostly cloudy afternoon and a slightly warmer high of 26°C.

Wednesday will see continued unsettled weather with cloudy conditions and thundershowers, and a high of 25°C.

Residents can expect a break in the pattern on Thursday as morning thundershowers clear to leave a day of variable cloudiness and the week’s highest temperature of 28°C.

The weather becomes overcast again on Friday, with a couple of showers and a high of 28°C.

The weekend outlook remains warm and humid with intermittent showers. Saturday will see a morning thunderstorm in spots before developing into a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 28°C.

Sunday will also begin with scattered morning thunderstorms under considerable cloud cover, with temperatures reaching a high of 26°C.

Overnight lows will remain consistent throughout the week, ranging from 17°C to 18°C.
