MH learner runs back-to-school shoe drive

Naledi Rabalao is collecting shoe donations through her foundation to help children from underprivileged families start the school year confidently.

POLOKWANE – Naledi Rabalao is a beauty queen with a calling to help the less fortunate.

The Gr 11 learner at Mitchell House is running a ‘Back to School: Shoes that Carry Dreams Campaign’, to help children from underprivileged families.

She does this through her foundation, the NalediR Foundation.

Naledi explained that she believes in equal opportunities for children, even those in vulnerable communities.

“Children’s opportunities should not be limited by their circumstances, and if I can help them overcome this hurdle, then I will. Being able to help children walk into school confidently and take a firm step towards their bright future is why this is so important,” she said.

Through her foundation, she will hand over the donated shoes to an underprivileged school. Contact 083 698 4243 to make a donation.
