Polokwane braces for more clouds and rain

Polokwane’s forecast shows a week of clouds, showers, and cooler days, but is expected to warm up and be brighter over the weekend.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a week of cloud cover and intermittent rainfall, according to the latest forecasts. The weather is set to transition from cool and damp conditions to a significantly warmer and sunnier weekend.

The week begins on a damp note. Monday will see a high of 24°C, with thick cloud cover and brief morning showers.

Tuesday and Wednesday will continue the trend of considerable cloudiness, with temperatures reaching 19°C and 18°C, respectively.

A shift begins on Thursday. While the morning may still bring a couple of showers and clouds will persist, but a warming trend will start to take hold as temperatures climb to 23°C.

This sets the stage for a notable change over the weekend. Friday will be mostly cloudy but significantly warmer at 28°C.

The unsettled pattern briefly returns on Saturday with highs of 25°C, mostly cloudy skies and a couple of afternoon showers.

However, Sunday promises the brightest conditions. Following a cloudy start and a possible morning shower, sunshine is forecast to break through, bringing the warmest day at 28°C.
