Polokwane: Hot, sunny week ahead before cooling down

Polokwane faces a hot and mostly sunny week with temperatures above 30°C, before cooler and overcast conditions set in on Sunday.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a mostly sunny and warm week ahead, with high temperatures dominating much of the forecast before a cooler change sets in over the weekend.

Monday and Tuesday will be very warm, with daytime highs of 32°C on Monday and 31°C on Tuesday, while skies remain mostly sunny with only a few clouds at times.

Conditions ease slightly midweek, with Wednesday expected to reach a high of 30°C under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures rise again on Thursday, peaking at around 31°C, continuing the hot, dry conditions across the city.

Friday brings a slight drop in daytime temperatures, with a high of 29°C and continued sunshine, offering some relief from the heat.

The weekend will see a noticeable shift. Saturday is forecast to be very warm at 31°C, with sunshine and slightly higher humidity.

By Sunday, cooler conditions move in, with a high of just 23°C and overcast skies expected throughout the day.
