Limpopo R81 near Kotishing reopens after fatal crash
The R81 near Kotishing has been cleared and reopened after a fatal crash, with traffic officers remaining on-site to manage traffic flow.
POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has confirmed that the R81 near Kotishing has been reopened to traffic on following an earlier closure due to a fatal crash.


The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services and traffic officials to attend to the scene and manage traffic flow.
During the closure, motorists were diverted via alternative routes, including the R71, Paledi Road and Solomondale Road.
The Department has indicated that the route is now cleared, and traffic has resumed.
Traffic officers remain on-site to monitor the situation and ensure the safety of road users.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution, comply with traffic directives, and adhere to all road safety regulations.
