Warm winter days continue in Polokwane

While mornings will remain crisp, afternoons are forecast to be noticeably warmer as settled conditions persist across the region.

POLOKWANE – A stretch of settled weather is expected across the region this week, with sunshine dominating the forecast and little to no chance of rain.

Temperatures will remain well above average for much of the period, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities, while cool overnight lows will continue to provide some relief after the warm afternoons.

The week begins on Monday with plenty of sunshine and a high of 26°C after a chilly morning low of 7°C.

Conditions become even warmer on Tuesday, which is forecast to be the hottest day of the week, reaching 28°C under clear skies and abundant sunshine.

A brief change arrives midweek as temperatures ease back.

Wednesday will be noticeably cooler, with hazy sunshine and a high of 20°C, while overnight temperatures dip to around 5°C. Similar conditions are expected on Thursday, although temperatures will recover slightly to 22°C.

The warmer weather returns heading into the weekend. Friday will see sunny skies and a pleasant high of 25°C, followed by another very warm day on Saturday when temperatures climb to 26°C.

Sunshine will remain the dominant feature throughout the weekend, with Sunday expected to reach 25°C under mostly sunny skies.

Overall, the coming week looks exceptionally dry, with rainfall chances near zero on most days. Daytime temperatures will generally range between 20°C and 28°C, while overnight lows remain cool, mostly between 5°C and 8°C.
