Zebediela murder suspect tracked down, arrested in Polokwane
Anna Ramollo (18), was found in a shallow grave near Bergeneck Road in May – her alleged killer is now due before a Zebediela court on Friday.
POLOKWANE – An intelligence-driven operation involving the Provincial Tracking Team and Provincial Investigation Unit led to the arrest of a 24-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a kidnapping and murder case that occurred in the Zebediela policing area.
The suspect was arrested in Polokwane yesterday (August 5), at about 16:30, following positive information received by investigators.

Body found near Bergeneck Road
The arrest relates to the kidnapping and murder of 18-year-old Anna Ramollo, a person living with a disability, whose body was recovered from a shallow grave near Bergeneck Road in May.
Court appearance set for Friday
Limpopo provincial commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Scheepers welcomed the arrest and commended the officers involved in tracing and apprehending the suspect.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Zebediela Periodical Court on Friday on charges of kidnapping and murder. Police investigations are continuing.
