Galito’s opens new restaurant in Nzhelele
More than 15 jobs have already been created, with the Galito's restaurant also sourcing ingredients from local small-scale farmers around Nzhelele.
LIMPOPO – Excitement was in the air as the renowned fast-food chain, Galito’s, officially opened its newest restaurant at Biaba in the Nzhelele area on Friday.
The new outlet is an impressive addition to the area, boasting a modern and distinctive design. As customers step inside, they are welcomed by vibrant colours, eye-catching artwork and stylish décor that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The blend of bold colours and contemporary finishes provides a unique dining experience that complements the restaurant’s welcoming environment.
Customers praise food and service
While the attractive interior stands out, Galito’s has remained true to its core offering of quality flame-grilled chicken and delicious meals. One of the customers who attended the grand opening, Mavis Madala, praised both the food and the service she received.
“The food served on the opening day was simply outstanding. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and every bite left me craving more. Galito’s Nzhelele truly knows how to delight diners with its unique taste,” she said.
Judging by the queues of customers and guests who attended the launch, and the overwhelming demand for the restaurant’s signature chicken, the new restaurant appears set to enjoy the same success as the company’s other outlets.
Why Nzhelele, why now
The Franchisee, Emmanuel Madele said the decision to open a Galito’s in Nzhelele was driven by growing customer demand.
“We wanted to expand our business by opening a Galito’s in Nzhelele to better serve customers who could not easily access our other Galito’s restaurant,” he said.

New jobs and local sourcing
Madele added that the new restaurant would benefit both the local community and the economy.
“We have created employment for more than 15 previously unemployed people, giving them an opportunity to support their families. We also source some of our products from local small-scale farmers in and around Nzhelele, helping to stimulate the local economy,” he said.
Hundreds of residents and shoppers visiting Biaba will now have convenient access to Galito’s’ range of meals and services.
Municipality welcomes investment
Speaking at the official opening, Makhado Municipality councillor Thivhakoni Mudzwiri commended the investment, saying the municipality appreciated the important role that small businesses play in creating jobs, reducing poverty and unemployment, and contributing to local economic growth.
