POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY NOTICE FOR APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE POLOKWANE MUNICIPAL PLANNING BY-LAW, 2017 (AS AMENDED 2025), READ TOGETHER WITH SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 16 OF 2013) AS WELL AS THE POLOKWANE INTEGRATED LAND USE SCHEME 2022 IN RELATION TO THE BELOW APPLICATIONS:
`Section 61 of the Polokwane Municipal Planning by-law, 2017, read together with the provision of Spatial Planning and land Use Management act (act 16 of 2013) for the amendment of the Polokwane Integrated Land Use Scheme, 2022, by the rezoning of Portion 3 of Erf 387 Annadale Township, from `Residential 1` to `Residential 2`, with special consent for an increased in density of 44 dwelling units per hectare.
`Section 61 of the Polokwane Municipal Planning by-law, 2017, read together with the provision of Spatial Planning and land Use Management act (act 16 of 2013) for the amendment of the Polokwane Integrated Land Use Scheme, 2022, by the rezoning of Portion 4 (a Portion of Portion 3) of Erf 219 Pietersburg from `Residential 1` to `Business 1`
•Section 61 of the Polokwane Municipal Planning by-law, 2017, read together with the provision of Spatial Planning and land Use Management act (act 16 of 2013) for the amendment of the Polokwane Integrated Land Use Scheme, 2022, by the rezoning of Portion 6 of Erf 302 Welgelegen from `Residential 1` to `Residential 2`, with special consent for an increased in density of 44 dwelling units per hectare
We, Opulence Developments, being the authorised agent of the owners of the above properties, intend applying to the Polokwane Municipality. Plans and particulars of the application will lie for inspection during normal office hours at the office of the Manager: City Planning and Property Management, Polokwane Municipality, Civic Centre, 1st Floor West Wing, from the 17 July 2026, for the period of 28 days from the first date of publication.
