Notice of the prospecting right Application: Core Portfolio Wealth (Pty) Ltd has lodged an application with the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMPR Ref: LP 30/5/1/1/2/16619 PR) for the purpose for prospecting Tin, Andalusite, Beryllium, Lead, Zinc, PGMs, Molybdenum, Flourspar, Tungsten, Lithium, Chrome on the farm Grootrivier 251 KR in the Magisterial District of Mogalakwena in Limpopo Province.
Notice is hereby given in terms of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) (Act 28 of 2002) and EIA regulations 2014, published under Government Notice No. 982 in Gazette No. 3822 of 8 December 2014, amended on 7 April 2017, that Core Portfolio Wealth (Pty) Ltd has applied for prospecting right for the above- mentioned minerals
INVITATION TO COMMENT
Interested and/or Affected Parties (I&APs) are hereby requested to register to receive updates of the process and afforded the opportunity to provide comments on the above- mentioned project.
Please submit your name, contact information and interest in the matter in writing, to the Consultant Miss Bongokuhle Sibiya before or on the 22nd of July 2026 using the contact details provided below. The public is also invited to review and comment on the Draft Basic Assessment Report and Environmental Management Programme Report (DBAR& EMPr). The draft BAR & EMPr will be available for review for 30 days calendar period from Thursday the 23rd of July 2026 to Thursday the 03rd of September 2026 (Excluding Public Holidays). This report will be available Mogalakwena Public Library (Library Chroompark, Mokopane, 0656) and a soft copy upon request from GeoEnviro (Pty) Ltd, using the contact details of the Consultant below. Comments on the DBAR & EMPr must be submitted to Bongokuhle Sibiya no later than the 03rd of September 2026.
