Give credit where credit is due

I want to thank Godwin and Jane, the two young ambulance staff, Dr Maluleke and Sister Moagi, with her staff, of Van Velden Hospital, Tzaneen, for the way they helped me and made me feel Tuesday night.

I appreciate their kindness and manners and could feel heir dedication and concern towards my well-being.

Sometimes public hospitals in the province are criticised and VVH has obvious limits in specialist competence and logistics, but staff attitude and willingness and tactfulness impressed me.

Such people should be encouraged and recognised for their dedication and approach to their work.

An assertive and positive attitude can only improve their already great performance.
