It is really amazing to see young South Africans doing something positive with their lives by using their talents.
I was inspired by a group of young people from Bochum who started a dance and drama group. They made me realise that you don’t have to wait for someone to do things for you, but that you can do it yourself. Support from the community and parents also encourages them to work hard and to stay focussed.
With South Africa being the democratic country that it is, there is no way you cannot pursue your career or develop your talent. If you believe in yourself and you have passion, nothing can go wrong, people will criticise you, some will guide you, but that will only make you stronger. I would also like to urge young people to focus on their studies to have other options in the future.
