‘Would they want children one day?’
Last week, February 10 to 16, was Pregnancy Awareness Week and in commemoration of the initiative, Review asked gr. R learners from Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) if they would like to have children one day and how many children they would like to have.
POLOKWANE – Last week, February 10 to 16, was Pregnancy Awareness Week and in commemoration of the initiative, Review asked gr. R learners from Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) if they would like to have children one day and how many children they would like to have.
“I want to have children,” said Kamogelo Maepa. “I want to have five children whom I am going to name after my teacher.”
Lehlohonolo Machaka said: “I would like to have four babies one day, two girls and two boys, because babies are so cute. I am going to name them after my mom”.
Paballo Mapanga said she would like to have children when she’s older. “I want to have two children, girls only, because I like small babies and girls are very pretty.”
“I want to have children when I grow up, they are very cute. I would like to have two children, one boy and one girl so they can play together at home,” said Dzuvha Tshedu.
Kamogelo Mahlase said: “Yes, I would like to have children one day, two boys that I am going to name Jacob and Joseph like in the Bible”.
Matladi Nkadimeng said she would like to have children when she is older. “I would like to have two children, girls only, so that I can play with them. I do not like boys.”
“I like children so I would like to have 20. I would like to have them all in one class when they go to school,” said Thandaza Mhlanga.
Mabotha Kganakga said he loved al children. “I love small babies and I going to have 12 000 of my own. I am going to name all of them Ben 10.”
