Tennis balls can help to relieve your back pain

A great way to treat your back for pain and tension or whenever you feel in need of general relaxation is to use tennis balls.

1. Put two tennis balls in a sock and make a knot on top and in the middle. Lower yourself onto the tennis balls, which should be placed on either side of the spine. Start from the area between your shoulders or anywhere you feel pain and discomfort.

2. Breathe deeply and allow your back to sink onto the balls. The balls will mould themselves to the contours of your back and stimulate your bladder energy. Keep the balls in one place until you feel the muscles relax and then slowly roll the balls to the next place you are “in need”.

3. Work this area in the same way, using your breathing to enhance the relaxation. Give yourself 10 to 15 minutes, working down the whole spine. Afterwards your spine will feel open and relaxed against the floor.

You will feel calm and have a pleasant sensation of warmth all the way down your back.
