Mighty FC ready to start the new season with a mighty bang

THE CEO of Mighty FC, Nicholas Chauke says the team is ready to start the Vodacom League season, with the team having selected new players during trials, which were held at the Seshego Stadium on August 7.

Chauke says the trials were a major success, with more than 60 players attending, but only 24 players of the 60 making it through.

“I am delighted to see that many young boys still have love and passion for sport.

“Among the players who were selected, 21 of them are under the age of 23.

“We want to comply with the new law that was implemented by the league that requires teams to have five players who are under the age of 23 years,” Chauke says.

The new players signed their contracts yesterday (Tuesday) and the team started with preparations for the new season.

Chauke says he believes the new players will take the team to the next level with the help of management and the supporters.
