Tlou Molekwane to stage soccer tourney in Seshego

Polokwane City Football Club and former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tlou Molekwane will host a top 16 soccer tourney at Seshego Ground B fields next to Seshego Stadium from 21 to 24 December.
The competition will see 16 teams from Seshego and surrounding areas battling for the R10 000 prize and floating trophy and new kit.
Molekwane who has also played for Bafana Bafana said the tournament is a way of giving back to the community who have played a major role in his soccer career. “I was born and bred in Seshego. When I left for Gauteng to pursue my soccer career, I always said I wanted to stage a tournament to give aspiring players a platform to showcase their talent. My message to the players is that they must give their all because they never know who is watching.”
Other Soccer Tournaments for Festive Season
Youth Element will be hosting its second annual Festive Season seven-aside soccer festival from 26 to 27 December at Polokwane Cricket Club.
Tournament Organiser, Mackenzie Lethole said 32 local teams will participate in the event and the winning team will walk away with a R10 000 prize and floating trophy.
Ga-Dikgale Sports field will be a hive of activity when it hosts the Bakone Soccer Tournament from 16 to 27 December. The tournament will also see 16 teams battling for
R12 000 in prize money, brand new kit and a floating trophy.
According to Tournament Organiser, Ben Mashao, “The aim of organising this tournament is to show people that they can succeed.”
