98 golfers butt heads on greens

Local golfers battled it out on the greens at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
Desiree Earle claimed the first spot in the Ladies A-Division with 29 points followed by Luanie van Rooyen on 28.
In the men’s A-Division, Andrew Galloway was victorious with 39 points followed by Aaron Segwapa and Phil Mashakane on 36 and 35 points respectively. Beverley Weijters finished first in the ladies’ B-Division on 35 points with Gail Wynne in second position with 26 points.
In the men’s B-Division, Les Cook took the lead with 39 points while Charles Mdluli finished second with 38 points and Keith Hoare settled for third place with 36 points.
Naomi Molepo won the ladies’ C-Division with 30 points, while Cynthia Viljoen was second with 24 points. In men’s C-Division, Jakes Jacobs won with 41 points while Zach Chuenyane was in second place with 39 points.
