Bikers race for good cause

Bikers from Regimental Crew Pietersburg participated in the third annual Dynamites Rally that was held at the Polokwane Short Circuit on Saturday. The rally was organised to raise money in order to support various orphanages and old age homes across the province.
Crew President, Jeff de Beer said they managed to raise R40 000 with their previous rally and had used the money to buy blankets and various items for food parcels which they then donated to different charity organisations.
He stressed that they don’t hand out cash to anyone but rather donate what is mostly needed at a particular charity organisation. They also support drug rehabilitation centres.
While all the bikers showcased their best skills on the track it was the youngest participant, ten-year-old Triston Potgieter who stole the show. The stunts he performed with his mini bike left the crowd asking for more.
De Beer said the rally was a success and that nearly 300 bikers attended. He expressed gratitude and appreciation towards all the bikers, sponsors and the public for make the rally such a success.
