New National First Division (NFD) campaigners Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhadila Football Club acquired the services of former Baroka Football Club players Tshepo America Mothiba, Hunadi Nkoana and Hlabane Kutumela last Friday.
Nkoana who was part of the Baroka team that beat Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup in 2011 was released by the club in June. Mothiba who had a short stint with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Free State Stars in his career was released by Black Leopards Football Club also in June. Kutumela started his football career at Roses United, and then moved to Chippa United before joining Baroka.
According to the Coach of the Club, Sello Chokoe the trio is expected to bring wealth of experience to the club.
“They have played in both the PSL and NFD so they understand what is required from them and I believe they will deliver,” Chokoe said.
He said the team was prepared for the first match of the season against Cape Town All Stars scheduled for Giyani Stadium on Sunday. “The team is ready. We have to start well, we are playing at home and we have to win the match at all cost,” he stressed.
The new signees reportedly said they were excited to join the new club and look forward to help it achieve its goals.
