The Vision of Hope Foundation (VOHF) has finalised arrangements to host their first annual golf day on 19 September in aid of the local shelters at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Charles van Wyk, Organiser of the day, said that this is the organisation’s first attempt in what promises to be an annual event in which they can raise funds to improve the living quality of the local shelter residents.
The format is individual Stableford and tee off will be by way of a shotgun start at 08:30.
Van Wyk called upon local business to support the golf day and help make it a success.
The prizegiving which will take place after the last players finished playing.
Caddies and golf carts are to be booked and paid at the Polokwane Pro Shop.
Prizes include, among others, boat and train trips, trips to Namaqualand to look at veld flowers and visits to the Kruger National Park sponsored by SanParks, he said.
