It was a day full of action and entertainment when local golfers competed on the course during a golf challenge that was played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
The tournament attracted 91 local entries in five divisions. Mpho Makhado claimed the first spot in the men’s A-division after accumulating 75 points followed by Mmemezi Dlamini on 76 points. Kobie Smit took the lead in the men’s B-division with 65 points while Theo Allison settled for the second position with 69 points. Zach Chuenyane finished first in the men’s C-division with 70 points while Adam Suliman occupied the second position on 71.
In the women’s categories, Luanie van Rooyen and Mash Makena were the only entries in the ladies’ silver and bronze categories respectively. Van Rooyen finished the competition on 76 points while Makena completed on 74.
