Oval racing enthusiasts can look forward to Polokwane Oval Raceway’s action-loaded calendar as six adrenaline-filled events will be hosted locally this year.
The first event is a club championship scheduled for 24 February followed by another club event which will also feature as part of the national hotrod tour on 26 May.
To warm up the winter cold the annual Winter Trophy will take place on 30 June followed by club championships on 25 August, 29 September and 3 November.
The national events will be on 8 September and 27 October in Gauteng.
Polokwane Oval Raceway held their annual prize giving late last year where local riders were rewarded for their excellence during the 2017 season. It was clear that motor sport is flaring up among the younger generation and provides more than enough reason for locals to support the sport.
