The second leg of Capricorn Darts trials held at a venue in Ladanna on Saturday was well attended with players aiming to accumulate maximum points in order to increase their chances for inclusion in the provincial team that will compete in the South African Darts Championships scheduled for 9 to 13 July in Gauteng.
Close to 30 players contended and Limpopo Darts Association secretary, Susan van Jaarsveldt said there was only one more round left before the announcement of the Capricorn and Polokwane teams on 5 May.
According to Van Jaarsved the Limpopo trials are scheduled for 14 May. She added that they were looking forward to the nationals and pleaded with businesses to assist the association financially for Limpopo players to be able to represent the province on the national stage.
