Riders battle it out in first round of Limpopo Series

Tens of MotoX enthusiasts competed in the first round of the annual Limpopo Series hosted at Capricorn Racing Club (CRC) on Saturday.
Heavy rains created a muddy track resulting in a challenging race testing riders’ skills to the extreme.
Ruben Aukamp and Donovan Raubenheimer claimed victory in the MX1 and MX3 category respectively while Christiaan Cilliers finished first overall in the 125cc category.
Mark Anthony Fillip left little space to excel to his rivals taking top position in the 85cc category while Leyton Lira took gold on his 50 cc. Albert Hattingh was first in the PeeWee category.
Other podium positions were secured by Nathan Kuhn (65cc), Biela Coetzee (support) and Darrell Lehman (flat track veterans).
The second round of the Limpopo Series will be hosted in Phalaborwa on 28 April followed by the third round in Mbombela on 2 June.
