Rugby teams aim for top spot in Boet Fick League

The first and second teams of Goldwagen Noordelikes engaged Mokopane Rugby Club in Boet Fick rugby league matches at Noordelikes rugby field on Saturday.
The hosts’ second team won their match 39-12 while the first team lost 28-41. On Friday, Noordelikes’ second team played Mogol Rugby Club during a Waterberg Rugby League match and won the game 31-5.
First team manager and a vice president of the club, Albert Oosthuizen complimented the teams for playing well and remarked that ball handling seemed to be a problem with the first team and this cost them the game. He further said players were also too eager to run with the ball rather than playing as a team.
Oosthuizen stated that all the mistakes that were identified will be rectified during the training sessions as they prepare for two Boet Fick League matches against Heuwelkruin Rugby Club on Saturday.
