The first and second teams of Goldwagen Noordelikes were on top of their game when they played Kruinies Rugby Club in Boet Fick rugby league matches at Curro Heuwelkruin on Saturday.
The visitors dominated most of the game and emerged victorious in both matches. Noordelikes’ second team beat their opponents 41-7 mostly due to their attacking game. The first team won 63-17. Ball handling didn’t seem to be a problem for Noordelikes first team this time compared to last Saturday’s game against Potgietersrus Rugby Club when they lost 41-28 on their home turf.
Noordelikes first team manager and a vice president of the club, Albert Oosthuizen said he was proud of the players and hoped they would maintain the same pace throughout the league. Noordelikes is set to play Letaba Rugby Club in Tzaneen on Saturday and Oosthuizen said their preparations were well underway.
