Fifa hosts Baroka FC chair in Russia

Baroka Football Club (FC) Chairperson Khurishi Mphahlele was among the Premier Soccer League (PSL) delegation that travelled to Russia for the Fifa World Cup last Thursday.
A photograph posted on the club’s social media account shows Mphahlele joined by fellow prominent chairpersons Kaizer Motaung of Kaizer Chiefs FC, Mato Madlala of Golden Arrows FC and Kulu Sibiya of Super Sport United in attendance during a match.
Baroka’s Chief Executive Officer, Morgan Mammilla said Mphahlele’s presence at the tournament will raise the profile of the team. “He is there as a guest of Fifa and also representing the club and the province. We are happy to have Baroka Football Club represented at the biggest football tournament by its founder,” Mammilla said.
