Bosveld Bowls Tournament a highlight for city

The Bosveld Bowls Tournament hosted at the Polokwane Bowls Club over the weekend, saw players from Lephalale, Hoedspruit, Louis Trichardt, Bela-Bela and Modjadjiskloof visiting the city to test their skills.
After four matches on Saturday and three on Sunday, the team of Duiwelskloof Bowls Club emerged as the overall winner, followed by the Polokwane Bowls Club. Vice President of Polo­kwane Bowls Club, Garry Blakemore said that the tournament was a great success. “The players from elsewhere in the province enjoyed their stay in the city and the companionship and team spirit was excellent,” Blakemore said.
