Black Leopards to announce new goalkeeper

Black Leopards Football Club is expected to reveal former Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club‘s development goalkeeper, King Ndlovu as a new member of the team next week.
According to sources close to the club an agreement has been reached with Jomo Cosmos while negotiations with the player continue. “The deal is almost done but the club will only confirm his employment once all is agreed and signed.”
Ndlovu played an integral role in ensuring that Jomo Cosmos reach the National First Division play-offs last season. “He played against Leopards in the play-offs and was impressive. He will add a different dimension in the Black Leopards’s goalkeeping department. He is young and hungry and will add value to the team,” the source added.
Spokesperson for the club, Berry Ramunenyiwa said their preparations for their match against Orlando Pirates scheduled for new Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening have begun. Leopards is currently in 5th position of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) while Pirates sits in the 9th position with four points after four matches. “They are a big team with quality players but we are also equal to the task. We started the season well. We played three matches, we won one and drew two matches. We said in the beginning of the season we are here to compete and we will continue with our good performances in all the matches and the next match won’t be an exception,” Ramunenyiwa stated.
