Gymstars treat gymnasts to warm send-off to SA games

Gymstars treated its 20 members chosen to represent Limpopo at the South African Gym Games to a stylish send-off last Thursday prior to their departure to Gauteng for the South African Gym Games currently underway.
The team consists of gymnasts aged nine to 16 who participate in a variety of disciplines such as men’s artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and tumbling. Guests at the party were treated to delicious mocktails and food while each gymnast received a number of gifts, included a tog bag, T-shirt, buff and other goodies.
Head coach and owner Lelanie Logtenberg paid tribute to the hard work done by the gymnasts in preparation for the event. “As a coach, I am extremely proud of you and very grateful for all your effort and passion,” she said. She reminded the team not only to do their best but to enjoy the privilege of competing against gymnasts from across the country and as far as Namibia.
