Polokwane City Football Club target Super Sport United

Polokwane City Football Club is aiming for maximum points against the inform Super Sport United Football Club whom they will host in their sixth match of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) scheduled for old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
City has already claimed the scalps of PSL giants, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, Amazulu Football Club and their neighbours Black Leopards Football Club in previous matches.
Their amazing run sees them in second position of the league with 10 points.
Club chief operations officer, Tincy Tema said their positive start of the season is a result of good pre-season training and sheer determination by the players. “To be honest with you, we had a good pre-season. We roped in a new coach and promoted a group of hardworking players from our development team. We are happy with the performance in in all the matches and we believe they will do well against Super Sport United. It is a home match and we don’t have a good record at home as most matches that we won were away matches. We need to win this match and cement our position in the league,” Tema said.
Tema also mentioned that their first choice goalkeeper George Chigova and their lethal striker Mohammed Anas will be available for selection having recovered from injuries.
“They were left out of the Kaizer Chiefs game because but they have recuperated now and it is up to the coaches if they want to field them or not,” concluded Tema.
