Another marathon done and dusted
More than 20 members of the Potties-Athletic Club boast with a rich medal-harvest after they took part in the FOREVER Loskop Marathon series last Saturday. The participants included:
MOKOPANE – Over 3 000 athletes hailing from all over the world took part in the 50 km Ultra Marathon, 21,1 km Wild Challenge and 4,9 km Rhino fun run.
The FOREVER Loskop Marathon series is renowned as one of the best organised events on the South African calendar and it is also a great opportunity for athletes to improve their Comrades seeding.
These athletes competed in the 50 km Ultra Marathon: Aubrey Baloyi, Sarie Coetzee, Rudine Jans van Niewenhuizen, Estelle Geerkens, Fairial Hoosen, Katijah Essack, Cecilia Ferreira, Andrea Ferreira, Johannes Molokomme, Annemarie Kruger, James Winch, Charlotte Moller, Gert Pretorius and Hosea Seabelo.
These athletes ran the 21, 1 km Wild Challenge: Gustav van der Merwe, Roseline Makgamatho, Johanna Mawasha, Fozia Issufo, Cheraye Engelbrecht, PN Seabela and Priscilla Seabela.
