MOKOPANE – 19 gymnasts from the Marshall Gymnastics Academy (MGA) showed off their skills during the Eldo Stars Mini Olympics Competition last Saturday.
This talented group competed against more than 300 gymnasts and achieved prestigious results on the day.
This was the last friendly competition before the MGA gymnasts will test their mettle in the Limpopo Regional Competition later this year.
The results are as follows:
Jayden Enslin (Level 1) – 8th overall.
Darren Foss (Level 1) – 9th overall.
Mathew van Heerden (Level 1) – 10th overall.
Juan van Staden (Level 1) – 6th overall, 2nd on Vault and 3rd on Floor.
Rudolf Brittz (Level 1) – 7th overall.
Keanu Potgieter (Level 2) – 4th overall, 3rd on P-Bars and third on High Bar.
Basson Wolmarans (Level 2) – 6th overall, 3rd on Vault and1st on P-Bars.
Hannes Raats (Level 3) – 2nd overall, 2nd on Floor, Vault, P-Bars, and High Bar.
Jan van der Baan (Level 5) – 5th overall, 1st on Floor, 3rd on Vault and 2nd on P-Bars.
Marnus Ruytenberg (Level 5) – 9th overall.
Juandré Ruytenberg (Level 6) – 1st overall, 2nd on Floor, 1st on Pommel, Vault, and P-Bars, 2nd on Rings.
Luan du Plessis (Level 6) – 5th overall, 2nd on P-Bars and 2nd on High Bar.
Louis Boshoff (Level 7) – 1st overall, 1st on Floor, Vault and High Bar, 2nd on Pommel and P-Bars, 3rd on Rings.
Maya Boshoff (Level 1) – 1st overall, 1st on Vault, U-Bar and Beam, 2nd on Floor.
Jénnezee Vermeulen (Level 3) – 2nd overall, 1st on Floor, 2nd on Vault, U-Bar and Beam.
Lesedi Mashishi (Level 4) – 7th overall, 2nd on U-Bar and Beam.
Lungile Mahlangu (Level 4) – 10th overall.
Melody Raats (Level 4) – 4th overall, 3rd on Vualt and 1st on Beam.
