Karatekas boast 23 medals
Kimura Shukokai Karate Club students excelled at the Northern Regional Kimura Shukokai Championships

Under the guidance of quattriple world champion, sensei Marcia van Niekerk, Kimura Shukokai Karate Club students excelled at the Northern Regional Kimura Shukokai Championships in Pretoria on Saturday, winning a total of 23 medals.
The championships included students from Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
“Twenty-one karate students competed in the championships, with 17 of them winning medals. I am very chuffed with their performances,” van Niekerk said.
