Orlando Pirates to launch their Moletjie supporters branch

POLOKWANE – Orlando Pirates will officially launch the Moletjie Orlando Pirates Supporters Branch in Mabokelele in Moletjie on Sunday.

The branch was established 10 years ago.

Paul Manamela, the branch secretary, said the branch was not formed to support Pirates player, Tlou “Gautrain” Segolela, who is from Moletjie, but to support Pirates.

“The branch was formed after realising that other communities have such branches,” said Manamela.

He said the branch would also support youngsters who had soccer talent, ensuring they participated in trials for professional teams.

One of the branch members, Mpho Moloto, said the branch could grow to greater heights if the community showed its support.
