Zani’s is the best

POLOKWANE – Zani’s rhythmic gymnasts who were part of the Limpopo team competed in the inter-provincial South African gymnastics competition on June 27 and 28 and excelled.
Wits University hosted the competition, and Zani’s coach and owner, Zani Prinsloo said the gymnasts “didn’t shine, they sparkled”.
The four top gymnasts who contributed to each region’s points in each of the three levels were announced at the competition and 11 of the 12 top Limpopo gymnasts were from Zani’s Gymnastics Academy.
“These gymnasts contributed to Limpopo winning all three levels. We were the best region in the country,” said Prinsloo.
The 11 gymnasts of Zani’s, who excelled were Ofille Hlabyago, Caitlin Smith, Neo Mogashoa, Palesa Masimene, Amo Maleka, Niane Coetzee, Lane Kruger, Chante de Marillac, Siobhan Johannsen, Perez Maponya and Khensani Rivombo.
Zani’s gymnasts also won 44 medals, of which 12 were gold, 22 silver and 10 bronze as well as 18 podium places for overall winners.
