82 players swing to win tourney

POLOKWANE – The Pick n Pay Cycad and Pietersburg Bande monthly golf day was a huge success at the Polokwane Golf Club on December 10.
With 82 players on the course, the individual stableford competition was tight, but Martin van Onselen took the honours, winning the competition with 43 points.
Andries Fritz claimed second place with 42 points, followed by Hein Warmenhoven with 40 points.
Zipho Ngobeni and Craig Hawken took fourth and fifth place respectively.
Keith Badenhorst, Goitsemang Motseki, Dirk Riekert and Adam Milanzi won prizes in the nearest to the pin competition on holes four, eight, 11 and 16 respectively.
Warmenhoven also won R580 in the jackpot drawn by Rampie Smit on holes eight, 12, 13 and 18.
