Amakhosi to vent their frustration on Usuthu in Polokwane this week

KAIZER Chiefs suffered a loss of 2-0 against Raja Casablanca in Morocco on Sunday and they want to vent their frustration by teaching Amazulu a lesson in their PSL match to be played in Polokwane on Thursday.

POLOKWANE – KAIZER Chiefs suffered a loss of 2-0 against Raja Casablanca in Morocco on Sunday and they want to vent their frustration by teaching Amazulu a lesson in their PSL match to be played in Polokwane on Thursday.

Chiefs spokesperson, Vina Maphosa, says the glamour boys were still focused and couldn’t afford to lose two games in a row.

“Raja and Amazulu are two different teams and we left some players when we went to Morocco.

“Our defenders, Morgan Gould and Tsepo Masilela were substituted due to injuries and team doctors will check them,” said Maphosa.

Amazulu spokesperson, Philani Mabaso, said it would be a very tough game but they were ready to muzzle their opponent as the glamour boys were still nursing the wound they suffered when they lost 2-0 against Raja Casablanca.

“It will be like a cup final match as we want to continue with our winning streak after we won 1-0 against Free State Stars at Moses Mabhida Stadium during the weekend.

“All the players are ready for the match except Nonkosi Ntuli who is on suspension.

“We have top strikers like Bongani Ndulula who scored when we were playing Chiefs in the first round.

“We still expect Ndulula to terrorise Chiefs’ defenders. Amazulu are left with six games and all of them are important. We are here to collect three points,” Mabaso said.
