Bruce Fordyce to visit Polokwane

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Park run will be launched in the park at Tom Naudé Technical High School at 08:00 on Saturday.
Nine-time consecutive Comrades winner Bruce Fordyce will be launching the event as director of Parkrun South Africa, and people can look forward to seeing the running legend in person at the event.
Runners can register on www.parkrun.co.za and receive a bar code allowing one to join all the events and look up one’s time on the website.
It will be a 5 km timed run and the race is free for anyone to join.
The park run is a weekly 5 km run and has taken place all over South Africa a massive total of 3 257 times in 51 events. It is an event that takes place in parks where runners can run in a safe environment and enjoy the race while participating.
Parkrun South Africa invites all to join them on Saturday and have a lot of fun while running.
