Kasi soccer match a hit with youths

SESHEGO – AS PART of the Easter weekend celebrations, #Team Radilaola Youth Foundation hosted the Kasi soccer game in between #Team Radilaola and #Team Cash Money where #Team Cash Money beat #Team Radilaola 3-1 in Seshego zone 1 on Sunday.
According to the event organiser, Katlego Mahwasane, the main aim was to keep the young people of Seshego zone 1 off the streets and away from mischief over the Easter weekend.
“We also wanted to encourage people to use sport as a way of keeping fit and being spiritually uplifted. All we want is for young people to stay away from substance abuse.
“#Team Radilaola promotes healthy living. We want to make a difference in people’s lives. Our mission is to support and join forces with the youth and community to eradicate poverty, unemployment and crime. #Team Radilaola is a township-based group that advocates youth development programmes and activities like skills development, sport, arts, culture, entertainment, heritage and life style activities,” Mahwasane said.
He thanked everyone who participated in the tournament. “I am humbled by your overwhelming support. This is not about me but all of us that contributed towards giving. This is not all about #Team Radilaola. It’s about us as a team to keep young people off the street,” he said. #Team Cash Money spokesperson, Dikeledi Mathabatha, said their main objective was to build the community. “Its not about making money, it’s about fighting crime and substance abuse. We support the strategic objective of sport and recreational in our province. We aim to encourage the youth of Seshego zone 1 to participate in sport,” Mathabatha said.
