Tops day for golfers at local club

POLOKWANE – The Tops Liquor Individual Stableford Golf Challenge was played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Wednesday, April 1.

A healthy turnout of 73 players took to the field. Nearest to the pin on hole 4 was Theuns van Tonder with Kobus Marnewick taking the honours at the 11th hole.

The jackpot still has no winners and currently stands at R2 000.

The winner on the day was Albert Botha on 45 points. In consecutive places from second to fifth were Pat Molepo, Wian Marx, Fanus de Beer and Gregg Young, all on 41 points each (count-out).
