Golfers join in for club golf day challenge

POLOKWANE – Sixty golfers competed in the Polokwane Golf Club club day golf challenge on Wednesday.

The challenge was played in an individual stableford format.

The jackpot was drawn by Johan Peyper, but there was no winner with the prize being a payable total of R1 320.

The nearest to the pin on hole four was awarded to Hein Viljoen and to Malebana Pataki at the 11th hole.

Mimezi Dlamini was in first place with a total of 41 points and Piet Bronkhorst in second place with a total of 38 points.

Hendrik van der Merwe finished in third place with a total of 37 points.
