6 local hockey players make cut for Limpopo team

MOKOPANE – THE Limpopo u/13 boy and girl hockey teams are practicing hard to be crowned as champions of the Witbank hockey tournament in July.
“I should boast and say that I am very proud that three of the players in the girl hockey and three of the players in the boy hockey teams are from Mokopane.
“Soné Kapp and Erna Kruger plays for the u/13B hockey team and Lachelle de Beer for the u/13A team. Noah Mokonyane, Glen Monama and Madimetja Sekgobela are representing the u/13A boys hockey team,” said William Khumalo, team manager.
Khumalo said, “my dream is to make hockey big in Mokopane so that more players from our town is chosen to represent the province”.
“I would like to challenge all stakeholders and businesses in Mokopane for donations to host a good luck party for these six local players before they leave for the tournament on July 8 as part of encouragement and to show them that we are proud of them.”
